We’ve been fortunate to be able to help a lot of really wonderful people over the years-
Here’s what they had to say about their experience with us, both on and off the bike:
“I went in for a bike fitting after putting some miles on a new bike and realizing something was off – knee pain that stopped my ride. They squeezed me in on short notice (because I had an event ride coming), and then were totally unfazed when I ended up having to bring my 2 and 4 year old at the last minute.
Kevin made some adjustments and also gave me some general advice, and I went out the next weekend for a metric century and finished it feeling great. No pain at all. My bike feels so much more comfortable now and I’m very grateful!”

“I have been to dozens of PT’s over a lifetime of competitive sports. I can honestly say that Kevin Schmidt is the best practitioner I have seen. . . I have now been to see him for three separate injuries (neck, hip and knee) that doctors had difficulty diagnosing and/or treating. Kevin was able to quickly narrow in on the issue, and have me ‘ship-shape’ in a matter of weeks. His staff is very helpful and friendly.
Can’t recommend highly enough.”

“I’ve never done physical therapy before, and I’m skeptical of everything ; ) I had an acute injury to my wrist and a more chronic pain in my shoulder due to poor posture at a computer syndrome.
From my first visit, I saw noticeable improvement in my acute injury, and within a couple of visits, my chronic pain was gone, too. I’m in decent shape (although out-of-shape for me), so my turnaround was quick and can’t guarantee results for everyone. But I am in tune with my body and could see remarkable improvements with every visit.
Kevin also does a great job explaining how things work in non-medical jargon and sets you up for continued success with great stretches and exercise. I am now a believer in Kevin & Pedal PT!!!”

“I couldn’t walk for a while because of knee pain, and I went to another PT place and they couldn’t fix me. I knew that if I found Kevin I could get back on my feet. I seriously could not walk for a while…. and he got me over that. God, that was a relief!”

“Great experience. The clinic is in a great location and walking in you will immediately be impressed. The staff is extremely friendly. Kevin is very professional and knowledgable. After doing a biomechanical assessment I then got on my bike. Fitting was precise and advanced.
I have had many bike fits in the years of racing and Kevin’s work is great. Extremely satisfied with everything and am happy to spread the word. Thanks.”

“Pedal PT is a great mix of professional with friendly and approachable, and certainly not just for cyclists.
They have treated for me for two different issues – a neck injury from an auto accident and a worker’s comp lower back strain – and my recovery from both accelerated the moment I started working with him. I think of Pedal PT as my body translator, helping me understand what it is trying to tell me and how to give it what it needs. He is gifted in using humor and metaphor to help me understand what is happening in my body and what types of movement, stretches, and exercises will help me at each phase of healing. He combines hands on soft tissue work with motivating me to do the hard work each day to increase my strength and flexibility. His exercises are creative and totally manageable with the perfect level of challenge.
If I’m unlucky enough to get hurt again, I’m skipping the chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy, and going straight to Pedal PT!”

“I highly recommend Pedal PT for anyone in need of knowledgable physical therapy and bicycle fitting. I went to Kevin for recurrent knee pain that had been plaguing me on and off for years. He was swift and accurate in assessing habits and weaknesses contributing to the issue. He eased me into rehabilitation at the right pace for my situation, and he also helped me understand why the injury persisted and what I needed to do to remain healthy.
As part of my treatment, Kevin adjusted my bicycle which made riding more efficient and comfortable. Not only does Kevin stay on top of the science and methodologies of PT, he also understands cycling as a mode of transportation as well as a sport.”

“I am a massage therapist who broke her wrist. I needed a PT to help me get back to massage safely and soon. I was referred to Pedal PT by one of my clients who raved about the care they received. I decided to find out for myself.
From the minute I walked in I felt taken care of. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist who had my PT come out get me promptly and on time. NO waiting.
After an exam on my fractured wrist he reassured me it was healing properly and our mission would be to get back mobility. The reassurance and thorough exam was half the battle.
My physical therapist was skilled and knew how make subtle but effective work on my carpals and wrist injury. He sent me home with exercises and stretches that I did daily. The homework was helpful. His work was overall thoughtful and he excelled in his efforts to get me back to work.
Highly recommend Pedal PT!”

“I am SO glad I found Pedal PT! I had been struggling with the limiting after-effects of an ankle sprain for 7 months, and wondering if my range-of-motion would ever be normal again. I had a podiatrist tell me I might need surgery for a minor chip of my Talus, but otherwise he offered no advice. After only a few treatments with Kevin, not only do I have my range-of-motion back, but I’ve been running and hiking with confidence. It was so nice to go to someone who knows a ton about the foot and ankle, and could easily see where the joint was out of place- and knew simple moves to correct it.
Additionally, the staff is super helpful and friendly. Today they were giving out free coffee and registering bikes to the Portland-stolen Bike registry! There is even free bike parking inside. Couldn’t recommend this place more.”

“I am so glad I went here to get a bike fit. I am new to cycling and had a lot of pain if my shoulder when I rode everyday to work. Someone at work suggested a bike fit by a professional and I chose Pedal PT because of the good reviews. They fit my bike to me using different tools and measurements.
When they had me ride around the block, I felt so incredibly happy because I had no pain and it felt so much more comfortable. Jake and Steve the student helped me and I met the owner Kevin. They are all passionate about what they do which I love. I will recommend them to any of my friends and family.”

“Jake was great. He helped me out with a bike fitting after I’d been dealing with knee pain for a couple months. Jake fixed my seat height and cleat position, then took it to the next level with his PT skills. I was assigned exercises to fix a lateral instability in my knee, and stretches to loosen up my hip.
I rode 50 miles today and my knee feels great. Thanks Pedal PT!”

Kevin is an amazing Physical Therapist. I had a bad knee that was keeping me from running as well as a bad wrist that kept me from practicing yoga. I was referred by my primary care dr. and in just a couple of months, I am back to running and yoga.
I had gone to a PT when we lived in NY who charged much more and did nothing for any of my pain.
Kevin is also super nice and it was a pleasant park of my week to stop in for therapy.
I am so happy to be a “graduate” of Pedal PT. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

“Kevin is simply the best (actually more than that, a wizard perhaps). I had a back issue for seven years that was so bad that at times I could not ride in a car or sleep in a bed. I tried everything: Orthopedists, spine specialists, various prescriptions, acupuncture, chiropractors, cortisol injections, multiple rounds of physical therapy with at least 3 other providers. All of these only provided limited relief.
And then about four years ago, I was fortunate to find Kevin. During our first appointment, Kevin did something that no one else really did. He asked a ton of questions and really listened. He must have interviewed me for about 30 minutes. By the end, he had found the issue that everyone else had missed. The problem was not being caused by a disc issue, but by a rotated pelvis pressing into the lower spine. He did some magical adjusting, and in just 10 minutes I felt incredibly better–after dealing with this pain for seven years! Over the next few months, Kevin helped me strengthen my core to keep everything where it is supposed to be. Now I just need to see Kevin every six months or so for a tune up. And I am able to do everything I want (e.g., basketball, etc.) with no pain.
Since then, I have sent probably a dozen people to see Kevin. And everyone has raved about the care he provides. A few of them drive from out of town just to see him. You can’t go wrong by choosing Pedal PT.”

“I’m 71 and have had an active life mixed in with too many injuries. So lot’s of experiences with Physical Therapists. I had knee replacement surgery and found Pedal Pt on yelp as my previous Therapists had retired. Try them and you won’t go anywhere else!”

“I originally met Kevin when he came to my workplace for bike fittings. He was so helpful with that, I scheduled an appointment to see him for a torn shoulder capsule. He gave me several good exercises, and was great about modifying exercises for my body type and abilities. I am still doing the exercises, and am recovering well from the injury.
Kevin also helped me with my tight IT bands, which was not at all related to the shoulder, but WOW! What a difference! I am sure I’ve prevented some kind of injury there with these exercises.
I also really like the little storefront that Pedal PT operates out of. And they certainly take care of you when it comes to bike parking!”

“This latest round of PT was my second experience with Kevin, and it couldn’t have gone better. Back in 2011 I was hit by a car while riding my bike. I was referred to Kevin by my chiropractor and Kevin was instrumental in my rehab.
This time, I had some shoulder pain that was inhibiting my climbing, bike riding… even opening doors could hurt. Kevin correctly diagnosed it as bicep tendinitis and gave me some exercises that helped me get back to climbing. I had also thrown out my back, so Kevin was happy to help me get that under wraps too.
The best way for me to describe my relationship with Kevin and Pedal PT is that I consider him to be “on my team.” Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and his staff is fantastic. The clinic is beautiful too, and I absolutely love his dedication to life on a bicycle.”

Compared to other fits I’ve had, the process was different right from the start. Since they are a PT house the physical check up was great! “I called Pedal PT this morning after hurting my back and not being able to breathe during a work out. I was able to talk to Dr. Stout, who instantly reassured me that I wasn’t dying (it’s scary when it hurts to breathe!) and that he could make time to see me today. It only took about 20 minutes of exercises and manipulation to re-instate my partially dislocated rib for me to be pain-free and breathing easy. Thank you, Jake! I had an incredible experience, and can’t recommend Pedal PT highly enough. ”

“From Marissa’s congenial and most helpful assistance as you enter, to the amazing care by the extremely professional and well qualified staff, I’m proud to declare that I’m now a brand-new, used man.
I went to Pedal PT for care during recovery from an auto accident. Not only did I receive the highest degree of care by the PT, but he also provided me with constructive exercises, which have helped to restore and maintain a solid physical foundation for living a healthy life from now on. They’re all fun-loving people, yet serious about the care they provide. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them all a 15+! ”

“This place has been giving me what exactly I needed after a bike accident in July 2015. I got hit by a car, and fell badly on my right leg. My 2nd toe got dislocated/fractured, calf developed a huge hematoma. Living an active lifestyle I was so desperate with the condition. Orthopedics previously I visited didn’t give me any good advice, but a few ambiguous comments on my recovery.
Jake Stout at Pedal PT, on the other hand, gave me a motivation and a hope to recover quickly by guiding me with direct advices. Jake is exceptionally knowledgeable, confident in his therapy, and very thoughtful understanding what I need. I was able to maintain my active lifestyle with his advice at each stage in my recovery. I’m at 75% recovery now, and super happy that I’m commuting by bike again!
Pedal PT is not like a typical boring clinic, but it has a pleasant atmosphere with good energy. With the experience at Pedal PT, I feel like I’ll be in even better shape when I’m 100% recovered.”

“Kevin and his staff do an excellent job when it comes to getting fit for your bike. This is my second visit as I received a new bike from my son as an early Christmas present. He checks out your fitness level, your strengths/weaknesses, your physique and adjusts your bike accordingly.
As I mentioned this is my second time to Pedal PT because obviously these most excellent people did a great job for me the first time around (read: perfect bike fit for me!).
Would not hesitate a second to recommend these guys to anyone seeking the right bike fitting.”

“I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Jake and I’m thrilled that he is at Pedal PT!
Jake was instrumental with helping me overcome both shin splints and a nagging shoulder injury. Jake really got to the route of the shin splints and spent a while massaging away a lot of tightness I had in my calves. He showed me a ton of great exercises to do on my own and gave me a running program that I’ve been following meticulously.
I’m now running further and faster than ever before! Much thanks Jake and now that you’re at Pedal PT, I’ll be coming here to see you for all my PT needs!”

“Kevin has been instrumental in helping me to continue working toward my fitness goals. I came to his office with a pinched nerve in my shoulder and a lot of pain and tingling down my arm. Thanks to his expertise in isolating the area in need of rehabilitation and providing me with exercises and stretches I could perform on my own at home, I was able to continue my Muay Thai kickboxing with a very short downtime.
Additionally, I have since seen Kevin for a bike fit and cannot stress how much this made a difference in both my ability to ride longer and SO MUCH more comfortably. The way my bike was adjusted before had me putting a lot more effort into my rides for a lot less distance and a lot less power. Since the adjustment, I’ve rode my bike much more than I did previously which is awesome!
I would (and do) highly recommend Kevin and his wonderful front desk staff to anyone in need of either bike fit or physical therapy . They have been nothing short of wonderful, caring, and professional at every turn.”

“I’ve ridden for years and have always thought I could adjust my bike according to tips from friends and reading from various resources. After years and years of cobbling together my bike fit, I went to PedalPT. Kevin was really helpful and worked with me on my what my goals are for the specific bike.
I’ve waited about a month to write the review because I wanted to make sure the fit had worked. It has. I’ve done several rides that range from commuting a few miles to work to doing a century. The bike feels great.
I would highly recommend Pedal PT for bike fits ranging from racing to commuting.”

“I can’t really say enough nice things about Kevin. I came in with a post-bike-tour injury, having already seen a different local PT who gave a very vague-but-dismal prognosis. Kevin was my second opinion, and was able to figure out not only what was wrong but how I did it. We made some adjustments to my bike to keep me riding through the injury, and then got the issue fully worked out with massage, tape, & exercises within about 6 weeks.
Kevin’s confidence, pragmatism, and optimism were real highlights for me in this process– I tend to be very gloomy about injuries & medical stuff in general, but Kevin never let me get down about this one. I’d recommend him for any cycling-related injury or, really, any bit of your body that is inexplicably misbehaving. He’s a good egg, and good at what he does.”

“I went to Kevin at Pedal PT for help with numbness in my index and middle fingers. Kevin listened. He spent a bunch of time learning about me and my specific concerns and issues. I was fairly skeptical walking in, but was soon convinced that Kevin could help me. He did. My numbness is completely gone, I feel better, and am able to understand the mechanics of helping myself if I feel the pain/numbness again.
I would, and have recommended Kevin to anyone who is in need of a physical therapist. I am in the health and fitness field and see a HUGE need for physical therapists like Kevin. They have a lovely, open work space. Kevin spent time with me, examining my posture, getting to know my bicycling habits and explaining to me how certain habits can cause pain and discomfort when on the saddle. We then moved to my bike where adjustments were made and I left feeling as though I was on a different machine – so comfortable, no pain. Gone are the wrist and hand numbness.

“Kevin has a unique blend of talents. He’s a highly knowledgeable practitioner of both body and bike, but is also an artisan healer who hand crafts a unique approach in coaxing a body back to wellness. “If you seek the utmost consideration, care, respect, and knowledge from a physical therapist, then do yourself a favor and visit Kevin and his crew at Pedal PT . . NOW!
Pedal PT is, without a doubt, the most stellar physical therapy group I’ve encountered. Before visiting Pedal PT, I put up with years of knee pain associated with cycling. Right knee, left knee, both knees, it was quite a bummer. My income is predicated upon pedaling, therefore I needed to make a positive change in order to keep riding. On a whim, I researched bicycle-specific physical therapists, and Pedal PT was at the top of the list.
Upon entering their clean, efficient, well-kept space, I received a friendly greeting. After a quick info session with Kevin, we got down to business. I kid you not, Kevin identified the issue immediately.
. . . Oops, I injured something else- No problem! I came back in and, once again, immediate correct diagnosis. Kevin is a pro.
The best part about Pedal PT is that they give you the tools to help fix yourself. You can tell the staff is passionate, and it shows through their professionalism and dedication to wellness.
If you’re having issues with your bike or body, visit Pedal PT- They are excellent.”

“I came for a bike fitting, not for PT. I got a new bike and wasn’t loving riding it, and my husband, who had recently had the same thing happen to him, recommended I go to Pedal PT for a bike fitting. While some may balk at $125 for bike adjustments, many of them micro adjustments, he spent an hour dialing in my bike perfectly to my body and discovering small errors in my riding form that were causing me to have a less than stellar riding experience.
Now I love my bike and will have him fit me to any bike I ever own. Small problems in your bike fit can add up to lots of discomfort over time- I really feel more people would be riding more often if they had their bikes precisely adjusted to their bodies. Worth every penny.”

“Kevin fixed my pelvis! I was in a car accident 4 months prior to my first visit to Pedal PT and I tried everything: chiropractics, massage and a different PT. I even had x-rays done and it was looking like my spine was out of whack, my left leg was shorter and my pelvis was shifted. On my first visit to Pedal PT after asking a ton of questions Kevin indicated that he thought my pelvis was twisted and that it was causing all of the problems: spine, leg, pelvis alignment issues. He said he was going to untwist my pelvis for me in that first session. With a few simple moves he essentially ratcheted my pelvis back into place. As soon as I sat up I knew he had fixed the underlying problem that was interfering with my healing process. He gave me home exercises to keep my pelvis in position and then followed up with me on each visit to assure that my pelvis was still in alignment (and it was!).
On the next visit when I couldn’t raise my right arm he figured out that my first rib was out of place. He delicately moved it back into position, which didn’t hurt at all. I was able to instantly raise my arm again!”

“Kevin helped me recover from years of migraines associated with tension in my neck and upper back. It was clear to me that Kevin knows his stuff. In the first couple of visits I had a much better understanding of what was going on and some helpful exercises that provided some relief. The next few visits we steadily whittled down the problem. I like that Kevin includes me in the healing process – when he didn’t know exactly what was going on he would just say so, list the possibilities and we would try different approaches together. After about a dozen visits my symptoms were almost gone, and for the past 4 or so weeks I haven’t had a single migraine.
My injuries were not directly related to biking and I haven’t (yet) had Kevin do a bike fitting. However, it’s clear to me that Kevin runs a very bike friendly business. You can bring your bike in and park it in the indoor racks (Kevin and the other employees may or may not oggle it). I’m confident that Kevin would do a great job fitting a bike, especially if you are fighting any kind of ride/repetitive-strain type injury.”

Through Kevin’s keen diagnostic skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, he confidently identified the problem and devised a solution that consisted of manipulations, as well as strengthening and balancing exercises.

“I injured my knee two years ago and it prevented me from running distances greater than 2 miles. I went to doctors and physical therapy at the largest medical institution in the state of Oregon, all with no improvement. The large medical clinic would simply watch me run and tell me how great my posture was, and they didn’t understand why I was experiencing pain.
Kevin diagnosed my issue within ten minutes of my visit. Within two weeks I ran three miles in one session; Week Four I was up to six miles in one run; I’ve now since run 28 miles combined in the last 7 days!
Pedal PT in Portland is a fantastic clinic and anyone in need of PT should give them a try. ”

“Went to see Kevin at Pedal PT for a bike fit following problems with patellar tendonitis on long rides. Before even starting the bike fit, Kevin figured out the source of the knee issue, and then was able to make some minor adjustments on the bike to address the issue. 500 miles later still riding without the knee pain! It was a real benefit that he not only knows how to fit the bike – but also had the PT experience to get to the source of the issue – which, in my case, was an ankle I broke years ago. Thanks Kevin!”

“I’m so blessed to have been referred to Kevin and Pedal PT. After being injured in a major roll over car accident, I was feeling very discouraged about my slow, and minimal recovery. Kevin quickly restored my sense of hope in healing. I was given a true understanding of my injuries, and necessary tools to aid in my own rehabilitation.
After a short time I saw significant improvement. That improvement has remained consistent, and while I’m not back to 100% quite yet, when I think back to the day I limped into the clinic, and the severe constant pain I was in, I feel remarkable about the place of physical ability I am in on a daily basis.

I had been struggling for years with a knee problem but Kevin’s attention to my experiences and careful assessment of my physical abilities soon addressed the problem at the source.
I am now able to ride on my perfectly-fitted bike and do all my regular activities without knee pain. I particularly like Kevin’s focus on long-term wellness and understanding of the problem.”

“I really valued the laid back environment with people who valued a quick recovery for me. I found that one bike fitting session has drastically improved my symptoms to the point of being pain free all the time, and being able to get back to my life. Andrea and Kevin are both so personable and it’s a pleasure to come see people who feel like friends.”

“This is the perfect combination of a PT/bike fitter. Kevin looks at the whole person, evaluates your needs in terms of physical therapy and then translates them to your bike. He is a cyclist too – great combination!”

“I went to Pedal PT for a bike fitting due to trouble with my illitobial band, which was causing a lot of pain during long bike rides. Kevin was super helpful. He not only made some adjustments and gave me tips about riding position, but he also showed me some good stretches. I have since taken a few 30+ mile bike rides with no leg pain. I’m happy because I’m able to do what I love again!”

“Knee pain had been an obstacle to bike riding for me this year. I went to a bike shop for a fitting, but my knee pain continued. Then I got a bike fit at Pedal PT, and left feeling better informed, helped, and more satisfied. Kevin expressed interest in helping me solve my knee pain through discussion of my symptoms, adjusting my bike, and showing me strengthening exercises to address my lingering problem. After my visit, I experienced a notable improvement and was able to accomplish my summer goal of completing a century – a 100 mile ride! ”

“All is great! . . . I’ve just come off my commute to Beaverton and back in this great weather and everything feels great. Since the [bike fitting] session I have about 400 miles on the bike with no pain now and a more relaxed riding position.”

“I came in after a disastrous experience with a chiropractor and temporary relief from a massage therapist, but still in pain. The physical therapist knew exactly what was wrong, assured me the pain would go away, but most importantly, gave me techniques to help myself. No magic, no pills, no funny machines, just good practices. I now swear by physical therapy. Thank you Kevin!”

“Extremely fortunate to have come across Jake Stout and Pedal PT! I came to Jake, the running specialist, with a reoccurring shin injury that had been hindering the consistency of my training for weeks on end.
With only one visit, Jake was able to apply the right treatment which resulted in a speedy recovery. I’ve been to many different PT’s and none are able to match the quality of work that Jake brought to the table. For people who are looking to have quality and committed work done on them, Pedal PT are the way to go!”

“Friendly and professional atmosphere. Kevin is very professional and knowledgable in his treatment and approach. It was nice to have a therapist who is knowledgeable about bicycle injuries and enabled me to get back on my bike as soon as medically possible. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be referring others and will return in the future if ever needing PT services again.”

” I love the atmosphere of encouragement – its helped me quickly regain the confidence to use my new ACL the way I was prior to injury. I can’t wait for the bike fit. Even the music is awesome!
I love coming in to smiles, taking bikes, beer, and getting back in the saddle. I also love the electronic receipts and appointment emails, they are small, but make my life so much easier.”

“Kevin has helped me through two injuries in the past year, and I am very happy with the service and care he and his staff provided.
This past spring I re-injured an old meniscus tear in my left knee. My doctor indicated surgery and scheduled me for the orthopedist six weeks out. I decided to see Kevin at Pedal PT in the interim, since my knee was locking up regularly (several times a day) and preventing me from biking and doing a good deal of my work, and I just couldn’t wait six weeks for the next step. For once my impatience really paid off.
I scheduled 5 weekly appointments with Kevin. Each appointment started with a physical exam, range of motion check, and some soft-tissue work. By my second appointment we started progressively adding exercises to strengthen and stabilize the hip, knee, and ankle joints. Not only did I learn the exercises that I needed to perform, but Kevin took the time to answer my myriad questions and helped me really understand what we were working towards. Within five weeks I was back on my bike, pain free, and had some great exercises to keep me on track. The meniscus is not fully healed but I have the tools I need to keep me helpful and active. I was even able to turn out a pretty great performance on the agility ladder exercises on my last visit. No surgery and back to prime in a month!
Unfortunately a few months later I got a little carried away at the BMX skills park and came down on my shoulder from a pretty big jump and suffered a 3rd degree AC joint separation, rupturing the 3 ligaments that connect the collar bone to the shoulder blade. ER doctors told me surgical repairs are not normally done on this injury and that I should expect a very painful 3-6 month recovery time.
I scheduled another 5 visits with Kevin to help get me through the healing process. this experience was quite different from my first go round, and the first three visits featured a lot more soft tissue work than I experienced with my knee. Kevin helped me identify the “too many to count areas” in my ribs, spine, and shoulder that were affected by this injury and really helped get these areas loosened up and ready for some very effective, though for me painfully boring and demoralizing, range of motion exercises. This has definitely been the most difficult injury I have had to recover from in my injury-prone life, and Kevin was really helpful and encouraging through the whole process. I am really grateful that he has not only the skills to have helped me physically, by the willingness and ability to be keep me motivated and positive in mind and spirit through this little ordeal. On my last coupe of visits we were able to progress to some strengthening exercises, which were really helpful. Because of insurance and budget limitations I was not able to schedule nearly as many visits as were needed, but Kevin understood this and helped with come up with some simple exercises I could do at home with not too much investment.
Overall I am really pleased with my experiences with Kevin and Pedal PT.”

“Kevin was recommended to my by my primary care physician and so far it has been going great. I’m talking about a noticeable difference in how I felt after each time I went in. My range of motion keeps improving and my total pain level is even starting to go down.
I have had a lingering shoulder injury for the past 5 months that another PT was unable to do much with despite his best efforts. Kevin was very clear with his goals and how he planned to accomplish them. It is still a bit surprising that things are going as well as they are, but I am hopeful things will keep continuing to improve!
I would recommend Pedal PT to anyone looking for a great PT to help them out.”

“Kevin at Pedal PT was a godsend! This unconventional, intelligent man has one of the best professional, yet caring bedside manners in the medical field. Kevin was the only one who figured out my condition and is successfully treating it. His knowledge of physical therapy seems to run so deep, I don’t believe there is much he can’t tackle successfully.
I’ve had cervical/neck issues for a couple decades. This last “flare up” had been stalking me for months. I had headaches for 3 months with simultaneous neck and upper spine pain. I tried 4 different doctors, had thousands of dollars of tests done on me, and was prescribed medications which did nothing but mask the pain. Of course being able to function is a good thing, and sometimes pain medications are necessary, but still no one seemed to be able to find the problem, let alone treat it. Kevin found the problem and has been treating it. I’m no longer on any pharmaceuticals and I’m back to my usual routine.
A good friend recommend Pedal PT to me. Now I’m recommending them as well. My only regret is I didn’t find them sooner. Kevin has integrity, and has earned my respect. He takes time to explain what he’s doing, why he’s doing it, and also equips me with the “tools” needed to keep myself feeling well in the future. There’s no price tag anyone can place on that!”

“When I first came to Pedal PT with excruciating back and leg pain, all I wanted was relief. Through physical examination, trails of various exercise and stretches, Kevin was able to pinpoint the cause of my pain. It took over 2 months of work but today I am pain free!
Kevin is empathetic, professional & kind, and his facility is clean and neat. Kevin’s assistant, Andrea, is friendly and helpful with appointments and billing issues.
If you want an extremely knowledgeable and competent Physical Therapist, go to Pedal PT!”

“If you are in need of a great PT, this is your place!
I have suffered with a swollen and painful knee for three years post total knee replacement. After many return trips to my doctor with no help, my son told me about Kevin and how good he was. In two months, he has fixed my knee! He is a very caring person who looks at your whole body and how everything works together, and as a bonus, you can get a bike fitting. He only accepts a couple of insurances, but they discount the fee, and we then just billed our own insurance. I was at the point where I would have paid a million dollars to have my knee fixed – he was a bargain!”

“Kevin really knows his stuff! This is the second time I have worked with him to help me recover from a car accident. Last time (before he had his own office) he helped me regain my physical abilities and heal to the point of no more pain. This accident was much worse.
For months I wasn’t getting better with chiropractics and massage alone. Now, working with Kevin again, I am finally on the mend. Not only has he helped me heal faster, but he has also helped me gain greater awareness of my body, how I sit, stand, walk and sleep. It is amazing how simple things like tilting my right foot 1/2 an inch inwards as I walk, or sitting in the “right” height chair can make all the difference.”

“Kevin Schmidt is very knowledgeable and explains everything well. He is the first one who has been able to help me with my hip problem. He likes a challenge and I was certainly one with the problems I had, and he was able to find the underlying issue. I am on the mend & improving, and would highly recommend Kevin to anyone considering physical therapy. He has a great receptionist too! It’s definitely worth your time.”
